Bad Blogger..

I am such a bad blogger..I totally forgot to blog about Emilee's Birthday weekend. I have an excuse though..I was in NJ then my parents came out to visit us here in WV! Does that count??
Like I said we went to NJ jsut the girls and I . Bryan had to work. Friday we went to see Toy Story 3 finally..The girls were excited to go se it with MomMom. Emilee fell asleep on her lap half way through and woke up just before it ended. Saturday I went to Sam's and got stuff for party. When I got back Emilee and Faith were in the pool with my Mom. My Dad even got in with them which was a big surprise because he NEVER gets into the pool!! Sunday was the party Lindsey surprised me by coming over and hanging out with us the whole day. She was a great help with Emilee by Taking her into the pool so I didn't have to! It was great to see my family, wspecially my Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Howard. Every event I have invited them to they have always come and I know they love seeing the kids. I use to pop by their house when I worked the Rescue Squad to say Hi! That is one of the things I will miss about living close by..
We then went to the Boardwalk in Ocean City so the kids could ride the rides..Nicole went with us so Faith had Fenix to ride rides with her. Emilee LOVED the race Cars!! She rode them 3 times!! She giggled all the way! Lindsey got on with her for the last ride..It was cute..
Monday we packed up and headed home..My parents came out on Tuesday and were busy altering curtains, hanging shelves and entertaining the kids.. It was a short visit but I loved having them here and I think my Mom is more at ease with the move now that she got to see where we live and how nice the house is coming.. We did get to take Dad's truck to Ikea so that we could get our furniture..They are still all in boxes but at least it's here and we can work on it when we can.

Tim McGraw!!!

July 8th we went to see Tim McGraw at the First Niagara Pavillion in Pittsburg, Pa. It was an amazing Show!!
Unlike the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ the reserved seats are NOT air conditioned!! It was 95 degrees in the shade!!
The first opening act, Love and Theft we did not see. We were tied up parking but did manage to get to our seats just before Lady Antebellum came on. They were HOT! Love their new album so I really enjoyed their performance. I love harmony and their voices just meld together!

Tim must love Phil Collins..Right before his part started In the Air Tonight started to play and the lights that lit up the audience would blink to the music. Tim opened with Real Good Man ( one of my favorites).

The highlights were:
Bryan got to go down to the front to take a couple pictures..He got a butt shot for me :)

A women left Tim speechless as she threw he bra on stage! He stopped singing, not sure what to say and then continued with the show. He drapped the bra over one of his band member's guitars.
The Warren Brothers came out and sang harmony on Blank Sheet of Paper and If your Reading This, both of which they wrote. If your Reading This was cowritten by Tim ;)
When they first sat down together they started to sing Tim McGraw (the song) It was too funny!!

So glad hubby and I got a night out by ourselves!!

Vacation and July 4th!!

Hello my friends!!
I survived the heat, the rides and all the walking I did in Williamsburg and had a blast doing it!! It was so good to be back in a place that I loved so much as a child! A lot of happy memories to share..The best part was sharing them with my kiddos and having my parents and brother there with his kids! 3 generations having fun and spending quality time together! We are all ready talking about what we will be doing next year for our vacation!! I can't wait!!
I still have not uploaded my pics of our vacation.. I've been slow going this week..partly becasue I am sick! Actually 9 out of 11 got this nasty sinus thing while on vacation..My dad spent the last 2 days in the room and missed out on Busch Gardens :( I missed part of that day too cause of my sinuses. Luckily our room was about 10 minutes down the road so Bryan took me back so I could rest! I felt better the next day so Mom, Eddie and I toured a plantation.
I will fill you in with all the details of our trip later :)
July 4th was laid back..We went to Walmart and got an outdoor dining set !/2 off..Gotta LOVE that!! I made some pasta salad and Bryan grilled some burgers up! We went to see the fireworks downtown..I have to say, they were one of the better displays I've seen a town do in quite a while! I guess I'm use to living in a state that downsizes everything becasue they have NO money! LOL
Tonight we will do the sparklers with the kiddos and I promised Faith I would get her glow bracelets!
